Terms of Use
Last updated June 6, 2026
These terms govern your use of Answered, a self-help legal software product operated by ellaSiD LLC. By using Answered, you agree to use the product as self-help information and document automation, not legal representation.
Self-help software only
Answered is not a law firm, does not represent you, and does not create an attorney-client relationship. The product helps you organize facts, review legal information, and generate documents from information you confirm.
You are responsible for reviewing documents, confirming deadlines, choosing what to file, filing with the court, serving other parties, attending hearings, and seeking legal advice when needed.
No outcome guarantee
Answered does not promise dismissal, settlement, court acceptance, debt reduction, credit improvement, or any legal outcome. Courts, clerks, plaintiffs, and judges control what happens in a case.
Deadline estimates and document workflows depend on the facts you enter or upload. You must verify deadlines and filing requirements with your summons, court notices, court record, or clerk.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for maintaining access to the email or account used with Answered. If you start anonymously, you may be asked to provide an email before payment, document download, or account recovery.
Do not use Answered to access another person’s case without permission or to submit false, misleading, or unlawful information.
Payments and refunds
Prices are shown before checkout. Stripe or another payment provider may collect payment and receipt information. Add-ons such as Document Review or Mail Filing may have separate eligibility rules.
Refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy. Refunds do not extend court deadlines or undo filings.
Changes and availability
Supported states, document workflows, add-ons, prices, and features may change. Some cases or court tracks may be blocked or require manual review if automation is not safe for the facts provided.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
