Refund Policy

Last updated June 6, 2026

Answered offers a 30-day refund if the product did not help you prepare your self-help filing. Refunds are handled separately from court deadlines and filing obligations.

30-day refund standard

If Answered did not help you prepare your self-help filing, contact support within 30 days of purchase and tell us what went wrong. We may ask for enough information to find the payment and case workspace.

Refunds are intended to keep the product fair for users, not to guarantee a court result. A refund does not mean a filing was wrong or right, and it does not affect any court deadline.

Add-ons

Mail Filing, Document Review, Counterclaim Add-ons, and other add-ons may have additional refund limits once fulfillment has started, postage has been purchased, a review has been queued, or a document has been delivered.

If an add-on is unavailable because of an Answered-side error, we will either fix the issue, provide an appropriate alternative, or refund the affected add-on.

How to request a refund

Email support@ellasid.com from the email used at checkout if possible. Include the case name, approximate purchase date, product purchased, and what prevented Answered from helping you prepare the filing.

Refunds are generally returned to the original payment method through Stripe or the payment provider. Bank processing time is outside Answered’s control.
